Torres del Paine
As part of a 2 week work trip to Punta Arenas we managed to squeeze in a day trip to Torres del Paine. The National Park lies 300 km north of Punta Arenas in Southern Chile. We spent two nights in Puerto Natales and from there took a day tour into the park. With the sun rising at ~09:00 and setting at ~17:00 we had an action-packed day as we were taken to the key parts of the park. There was no time to sit and wait for the light - we just had to make the best of what we got but the mid-winter sun tried its hardest for us.
