Last Wednesday evening race at Hunts Sailing Club
The Twilight Series runs through the summer months with one race every Wednesday evening. Although the winds are usually light it is one of the most popular series of the year. The last night of the 2019 series (4 September) was notable for having a reasonable breeze and the golden light as the sun set provided a great incentive to get out with the camera.

Laser at end of gybe
Once that boom hits the water the sail cannot be freed off and this can so easily be the start of a capsize. Cue maximum weight over the side as quick as possible. This Laser survived. Canon 7Dii and 100-400mm at 400 mm. Exposure 1/640 sec at f/9.0; ISO 2500
