Norfolk Broads
A selection of photos from recent day trips and holidays on the Broads. In 2012 we went and sailed a Hustler from Hunters Yard, who are based on Womack Water near Ludham. We hadn't sailed one of their yachts since holidays with the children in the mid 1990s. However the magic of sailing a boat built in ~1935, which has no engine or electricity, was still there.

First through the bridge
About an hour after sunrise the mist is still lingering. However on the east side of Potter Heigham Bridge (Norfolk Broads) just enough sunlight is breaking through the mist to turn the brickwork golden and to spotlight the first bird swimming through against the tide. Taken on 14 July 2018 at 05:49 (BST) with Canon 5Diii and 100-400mm at 100 mm. Exposure was 1/10 sec at f/25; ISO 100
