Lake District landscapes
It has been around 20 years since we were last in the Lake District. A most amazing place for someone who lives in the fens. Here is the best of those moody mornings from a 5 day trip which I hope will be repeated again soon.

Mist and ice
Freezing, misty, moody morning looking out across Tarn Hows near Coniston in the Lake District. In brilliant sunshine we climbed from Glen Mary Bridge up the path beside the stream. Only near the top did we lose the sun and walk out into a winter wonderland of mist and ice. Taken on 30 January 2019 just before midday with a Canon 5Diii and 24-105mm at 58 mm. Exposure was 1/13 sec at f/16; ISO 100
