East of the A14
If you travel north from Cambridge then on the right side of the A14 the landscape seems to have only slightly more height variation than a snooker table. The spot height for our street is 7 m above sea level although the sea is presently 70 km to the east. This is the start of the fens and a mixture of photographs that capture the essence of the fenland landscape.

Misty summer sunrise - 22 June 2017
Morning after the solstice saw Lola and me just about in place for the sunrise only to find that low mist/cloud obscured the horizon. This is the view about 15 minutes after sunrise looking towards Nine Acre Wood from The Causeway between Willingham and Aldreth, Cambridgeshire. Taken with Canon 7Dii and 100-400mm at 200 mm. Exposure was 1/50 sec at f/9.0; ISO 100
