East of the A14
If you travel north from Cambridge then on the right side of the A14 the landscape seems to have only slightly more height variation than a snooker table. The spot height for our street is 7 m above sea level although the sea is presently 70 km to the east. This is the start of the fens and a mixture of photographs that capture the essence of the fenland landscape.

Grey clouds above Gun's Lane, Histon
Lola and I have been exploring the local footpaths and bridleways. 10 May 2015 found us out between Westwick and Histon near Cambridge waiting for the sun to find gaps between the clouds. Taken with Canon 5Diii and 24-105 mm f/4 at 105 mm. Exposure was1/400 sec at f/8; ISO 100
