East of the A14
If you travel north from Cambridge then on the right side of the A14 the landscape seems to have only slightly more height variation than a snooker table. The spot height for our street is 7 m above sea level although the sea is presently 70 km to the east. This is the start of the fens and a mixture of photographs that capture the essence of the fenland landscape.

Sunrise over fenland fog
Sunrise at The Causeway near Willingham was delayed by about 10 minutes today by the presence of a bank of fog just above the ground creating a false horizon for the sun to rise above.
