29 September 2013. After going along to the Hansen RSPB nature reserve before dawn yesterday I was already to go for an early bike ride this morning. Then my trusty training partner, photographic assistant and general dogs body looked at me eating my breakfast and with one expressive look, convinced me to go up to the river first. This September has just been a string of beautiful sunrises. Taken with my Canon and 70-200 mm.
Sun behind tree on Aldreth Causeway
26 August 2013. Another one of those do I go or do I stay mornings. However the google weather was forecasting an initial mist clearing into a sunny day. Lola was as keen as ever to go. However it wasn't 'til we started to return to the car that the low cloud started to breakup enough to allow the sun to appear. Canon 5Diii and favourite 70-200 mm f/2.8 L, 1/160 sec at f/16; ISO 160.
Fenland sunrise
17 August 2013. Just one of those mornings where you wake and as soon as you look out of the window you know you've got to grab the camera and run. Lola and I were out of the door within minutes. We just missed sunrise but the light was still lovely as we walked up to the river. Canon 5Diii and 70-200 mm at 200 mm. Three photos blended in Photoshop and then adjusted in Lightroom.
