Sunlight finally grazes the sea ice off Signy Island, South Orkneys, Antarctica
It takes 30 minutes from sunrise before the sea ice is lit directly by the rising sun. At this point the previously lit mountains are now in the shadows. Taken on 24 November 2014 with Canon 5Diii and 70-200mm f/2.8 at 70 mm. Exposure was 1/100 sec at f/10; ISO 100
